Enviornmentally Sustainable Designs are applied in order to have minimal inpact on the fragile state of the global environment. Use of plantation timbers where possible and the consideration of recycled materials in conjunction with manufactured board assist in sustaining waning stocks of exotic species minimizing further deforestation.

Do you have an appreciation for period homes and furniture and are you looking for something different? When considering a custom built reproduction piece, do a Google image search on the "Biedermeyer" and "Art Deco" styles. Discover a newer and brighter look. The switch to lighter colours and fresh clean lines, suit both Contemporary and Period homes, moving away from the look of ornately decorated dark brown furniture of the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Cabinet

This job was for Andrea and Peter of Caulfield in Select Grade Blackwood with period mouldings to the bench top. The brief was to create a library style panelled look, hence the choice of recessed finger grips beneath the doors as against traditional handles or knobs.

We put our heads together and came up with a design that pleased her in regards to timber type and colour, style of hand turned leg and moulding details for drawer fronts and table top.

Huon Pine Reception Table

Head radiographer at Mayne Health requested a sign up table that was different and had some interesting detailed specs.

Art Deco Wall Unit

This wall unit was designed for a couple in Camberwell that needed to display their glass-ware as well as have storage for liquor, cutlery and crockery. The design needed to reflect the arched features in the existing joinery throughout the home
